#14 Always get boys' haircuts at the barber shops instead of hair salons.

Here is my opinion... I have twins mind you.

For pictures the last few years I would make sure to take the boys in to get their hair cut. The first few times I tried to cut their hair, I just about had a heart attack! They were too wiggly and they moved every single time I would go to snip the hair.

I took them in to get their haircuts... Mirrors are the key I suppose.

It is really expensive to take them so Super Cuts and Great Clips. I would make sure to find a coupon. I didn't' realize I could take them to a barber shop!

I just buzzed their hair myself. I took them outside and they hid their faces on my thighs while I buzzed 'em. They look lovely... although I am really not one that loves a buzz. I did a pretty good job blending the different lengths together so I didn't feel they were buzzed. ;)

So I guess you can get a barber shop hair cut for $5, sometimes less. :) Take them to the barber shop or do it yourself. If you have any doubts about cutting their hair yourself, just take them in.

Also, cut their hair. I know they have beautiful hair and it just breaks your heart to cut it off, but they are so much more handsome with a nice haircut that gets the hair out of their face and lets you see their eyes.

Nothing I love to see more than a sweet face that isn't distracted by hair. ;)
